Super good food!! It's down to earth, good 'ole fashioned BBQ. The owners are from Kentucky and Texas and really know their stuff. But, don't go too late!! They do sell out of their items because they are popular and good!!

This place has some of the best barbecue I've had in a while. Meat came off. The bones sauce was good vibes were good love the service from the owner really good Texas barbecue would definitely recommend and eat here again.

Was in the mood for BBQ so we decided to give this place a try. Small family owned place with friendly service. Went mid Sunday afternoon so it wasn't busy. All the food was very good and had good smoke flavor with a bit of spiciness. The chicken was really juicy and tender, even for white meat. The ribs were tender but firm and not squishy. The brisket was good but of the lean type, and we prefer fatty brisket. The mac and cheese was creamy & delicious. Potato salad was also creamy & delicious. Overall, a very good experience.

Best bbq ever!! Always a treat to come eat here. Welcoming, friendly, and very clean restaurant. We love the ribs, corn, and baked beans. Eaten here several times over the past few years and it's always consistently delicious! Give them a try and support small and local.

I came here on vacation on 2 consecutive days to get 2 pounds of brisket each day for my family to share. The menu is limited to brisket, baby back, pulled pork, and sausage but most people get the brisket. They sell it by moist or lean. I got a half and half of each to try and my family prefers the moist, fattier brisket. The smoke flavor is not overpowering and the smoke ring is nicely thick. The bbq sauce is good too. The man also added some burnt ends for us to try as well. Brisket is $34 a pound and the single platter with a side and pickles is ($17.99). The lady also gives slices of white bread with a container of pickles and bbq sauce. The couple is nice and wait time is not long. They have a good amount of seating and a good size parking lot. Closed Mondays.

Wow and wow!!!! We had an off menu family meal that came with 4 different bbq meats, 2 large sides, homemade pickles, 5 slices of white bread and their signature Maybell spicy bbq sauce. Again, wow! The pulled pork and brisket paired well with their bbq sauce. The sausage was incredibly moist, not salty nor hard to chew, so tender! Ah, the ribs were just right off the bone eating! The side corn was delicious, somewhat smoky and full of deliciousness. The Mac and cheese was perfect, no velveeta type cheese, smooth and creamy. We got a surprise side to try as a freebie which was the brisket baked beans, best baked beans I ever had! Too bad I'm visiting from Virginia, otherwise this would be one of my to go bbq stops. My mom is picky about food and was truly impressed! She was surprised the meats were not greasy.

October 10th? Heck yeah, definitely feelin' 10/10!! I've decided to try Maybell's BBQ out after EoS today. As soon as I opened the door to this magical place, I was hit with the rich, bold smell of wood-smoked meat and my taste buds were prepared for something really exciting to happen!!! I opted for the 2 meats & 2 sides option. Most of the items here were pork, but luckily they had brisket so I got double brisket, sweet corn, potato salad and a side of pickles. They served both lean brisket & fatty brisket. Both were delicious and sooo tender and juicy!! The brisket was not overly salty. By itself, you can definitely taste the love they put into smoking their meat. I like to dip the brisket in BBQ sauce and top it with a pickle for that trifecta umami goodness!! You get the perfect balance of smokey, sweet, and tangy. Omg it was so flavorsome!! Definitely dopamine high today!! The sweet corn was good and the potato salad was really good!! It had pepper in it with the right amount of tart and paired really well with my brisket. The place was very clean, restroom was clean too. Service was great, the owners are very nice and friendly. She came to check on me and ask how I liked it. I told her it was amazing and I love it! Love the music they were playing. Even though it wasn't really from my generation, I liked it, nice, pleasant, and upbeat. This place does not get the love it deserves. Overall, I enjoyed my meal. The brisket is fiiiire!! I love the BBQ sauce! Definitely coming back here (well it would be hard not to, since EoS is right there). We need to support small, local businesses like this one!!

Mmm mmmm mmmm when you really need some good o bbq that brings you that childhood comfort this is the place to go. Food is always served fresh and hot and oh those smoked flavors will have you diminishing every bite. Service is prompt and customer service wise they are very polite and welcoming. Can't come in find them on door dash too! Place is kept clean with plenty of parking out front. You will smell the flavors from outside to in. So what are you waiting for stop on in at MAYBELLS! I recommend my favorites: Brisket Ribs Sausage Potato Salad Mac & Cheese Best prices in the area for the large portion you won't regret stretching your tummy for.

Today we visited Maybells BBQ after hearing about it a few years ago. We were in the area so we thought why not. As soon as you walk in the door you know you are in a true BBQ joint. The smoke smell hits you immediately. We decided on the beef brisket plate and the pulled pork sandwich. My beef brisket was very flavorful. The slices had a beautiful smoke ring in the edges. And the bbq sauce and the slices of white bread just made it that much better. I really loved the bbq sauce. My wife enjoyed her pulled pork sandwich. I had the brisket baked beans and my wife had the mac 'n cheese. Both were very good. If in Murrieta and you are craving some good bbq, this place is a must visit. You will also be quite pleased with the service provided as well.
